ToughGuard STEP-2 has a high temperature thermal threshold of +450 F and a low temperature thermal threshold of -80 Fahrenheit. Traditional waxes and polishes deteriorate from heat exposure, absorb buildup and pollutants, and wash away with detergents. ToughGuard STEP-2 does not!

Physical Bond to Painted Surfaces

ToughGuard STEP-2 nano sized natural inorganic resin fills in and smooths out the microscopically rough painted surfaces, then bonds with the paint or gel coat creating an extremely protective barrier coat. This extremely durable barrier coat is impervious to environmental elements such rain erosion, carbon soot, pollution, Skydrol and other chemical products. Because of the microscopically smooth surface dirt and other types of contaminants find it difficult to latch to the ToughGuard treated surface
